Baroque Dance for Suzuki Musicians
Experience Baroque dance and music rhythm relationships through basic steps and gestures. Paige Whitley-Bauguess will lead participants through basic steps to typical Baroque Dance Music as well as corresponding selections from the Suzuki Repertoire. The goal is to internalize rhythm of the dance types encountered in Baroque repertoire: bourée, menuet, gavotte, gigue, sarabande.

Baroque Dance Workshop
Two classes led by Paige Whitley-Bauguess:
•Baroque Dance Types and Rhythms for Musicians & Dancers - Learn Baroque Dance steps and step sequences in various Baroque Music-Dance Types to illuminate and internalize rhythms with examples of Baroque Dance as the root of Classical Ballet.
•Introduction to Baroque Dance - Learn basic Baroque Dance steps and rhythms with reference to historical context.
